Stop Procrastination
Procrastination is the postponement to achieving more in life. It is the ‘stop sign’ that can keep people where they are and it can be the ‘give way sign’ that allows life to pass them by.
To get ahead in life, procrastination is a behaviour that has to be eluded!
Here are a couple of ways my clients avoid procrastination that might be useful to some people:
1. Break down the tasks, projects, assignments or goals into smaller manageable ones. Start off by working on the easier and fun ones. This will lift your mood and it will also keep you motivated to progress to work on the other tasks.
2. At the completion of each task reward yourself by taking a walk or having a break. Take the time to feel that sense of accomplishment and allow that feeling to spread within you. Hold on to the sense of pride that this successful accomplishment will bring.
Just think about what you could accomplish if you could reduce and manage procrastination.
