Which Comes First: Success Or Happiness?

I was reading a book last week when I came by this amazing quotation. It had me mesmerised for the majority of that week.
The best part of today’s world population is under the disillusion that success will make them happy. I believe that this is generally the other way round.
More often than not happiness makes people more successful.
Let’s face it, when you are in a happy mood, you are by far more effective and productive than when you feel down.
Instead of striving to succeed so that you will then, and only then be happy, it might be more valuable to first be happy to pursue what it is that you want.
