How to Take Spontaneous Action
When you do something for the first time, your thoughts and actions are conscious. You think about what you are doing and how you are doing it.
For example, when you are new to interviewing you may be as nervous as the interviewee. However, the more you practise conducting interviews the better you will become. After a while, you will be so good at interviewing that you run the interviews, as if they are second nature to you.
You don’t have to think hard about directing and managing the interview. You find that you handle it very easily.
When you do something well without having to think about it, you are witnessing spontaneity. Your unconscious mind is on autopilot, pointing you in the right direction.
Through your unconscious mind you are able to do things without even thinking about it.
Your ideal goal should always be to put the things you want to do well into your unconscious mind, so that you do not even have to put too much thought into what you are doing. And you do this by daily and regularly thinking about your goals so that your unconscious mind puts these goals on its important list.
If you had goals that are important to you, are you willing to place them on your important list?
