Why Does This Always Happen To Me?
How often have you asked yourself this question? Did you notice that the more you asked this question the more the same sort of unconstructive events happened?
This cycle will obstinately repeat itself until you do something about it!
You see, the belief patterns that you created as responses to the events that you have experienced, get strengthened every time you experience similar events.
Whatever you give your attention to, you tend to create; what you focus on expands. React negatively and you attract even more negativity.
Stop reacting and start creating!
In other words, create new belief patterns. When you experience certain unpleasant events, attach to them a positive reaction rather than a negative one.
If you are stuck in a traffic jam on the way to an important meeting, rather than cursing and blurting out that question, Why does this always happen to me! Mentally imagine the meeting going well. Go through your notes or rehearse what you have to say.
This way you do not allow the event to control you. You control it by remaining calm. After a while, you will feel more relaxed when stuck in traffic jams, because you have created new calming beliefs.
As of today, are you prepared to look at unpleasant events a little more differently?
